SCC Choir

Introduction

The College has its own Choir called Shillong Commerce College Choir, mentored by Mr. Johanan Lyngdoh.  Shillong Commerce College Choir started in the year 2015 with 12 students as members. Currently there are 24 students who are members and currently under the tutelage of Ms. Daphira Dkhar. 

The Choir was invited to perform in several programs outside the campus and had recently participated in the Inter college Singing Competition 2024 organized by College of Teacher Education, PGT as part of their Diamond Jubilee Celebrations where one of the choir members was awarded 3rd prize in the solo category. The Choir has sung on different occasions and was invited by the government to sing at the Republic Day and Independence Day parade 2015.
